An edition of 75 signed giclee prints of the 'Jay' wing print available to purchase from 7th June 2024. The prints are on acid free archival heavyweight paper. 
 
The original Jay painting of a wing and egg was selected and exhibited at the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours 212th open exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London  in 2024. It will also feature in my up and coming book Painting on Vellum, which is due for publication in 2025. The original watercolour is painted on mounted vellum which gives the textured warm background to the wing. The print image size is 19.4 x 14 cm with white border making an overall paper size of approximately 28 x 21 cm, the signature and number are on the white of the paper. The print will be posted flat packed and the price includes postage and packing.  
I have a particular fondness for painting feathers and love their softness, it requires the lightest of strokes with the brush, in what I can only describe as an almost meditative process, where the brush barely makes contact, yet the image emerges on the surface from the  soft layering of paint.
